DETEKSI DAN PENGOBATAN SERTA PENYULUHAN PENYAKIT KECACINGAN PADA SISWA SDN 1 MAMBANG KECAMATAN SELEMADEG TIMUR KABUPATEN TABANAN

Abstrak

A public health service activities has done to detection and threatment of intestinal helminths infection accompanied with counseling to the students of SD Negeri 1 Mambang, District Selemadeg Timur, Tabanan regency with the aim to eradicate intestinal worms in students. The event begins with socializing and sharing a pot of feces that already contains the identity of the students continued with the collection of feces. Of the 112 students enrolled in full, collected a total of 88 stool samples, which means the level of student participation of 78,6%. Of the 88 stool samples were examined were found 2 samples (2.3%) were positive worms of Enterobius vermicularis. Both positive student has been treated using albendazole 400 mg including their families because the worm is highly contagious in a domestic environment. Counseling is done on the students proved to increase the knowledge of children against intestinal worms and how to prevent visible than before extension only a small percentage of children who know the types of worms that live in the intestines of humans and and how to control its, but after counseling almost all children can answer the same questions orally.
