Pengaruh Islamophobia Terhadap Human Security Imigran Muslim di Denmark
Abstrak
This study aims to provide an overview of how Islamophobia affects the human security of Muslim immigrants in Denmark from 2017 to 2019. Islamophobia itself is a discrimination issue that has existed for a long time and often occurs in countries that do not have Muslims as the majority of the population. Denmark is one of the countries where Islamophobia still occurs because of ethnic and identity differences. The perpetrators of discrimination against Muslims are not only from Danish civilians, but also from politicians and the current government. Since the incidents of 9/11, Islamophobia has started to develop in Denmark, especially because of the doctrine of the right-wing party with nationalist ideology which lead the Government in Denmark short after the incident. Until 2019, a lot of islamophobic background accident took place in Denmark, including physical violence, verbal violence, and even policies that were considered to corner and harm Muslims in Denmark. These Islamophobic actions clearly corner and pose a threat to the security of Muslims in Denmark who are always become the victims. The data collected in this study were obtained from the results of a literature study using the theoretical framework of Islamophobia and human security. This study provides an answer that Islamophobia which departs from a wrong understanding and negative prejudice against Islam which then produces outputs such as acts of discrimination can affects and making a threat to human security for Islamic citizens in Denmark
