FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN BALI BELLY PADA WISATAWAN MANCANEGARA DI KAWASAN WISATA PANTAI PANDAWA
Abstrak
The tourism industry is currently experiencing a fairly good development, proven by advances in tourism health, especially nursing tourism which has been one of the causes of the increasing number of foreign tourist visits in recent years. Foreign tourists can experience travel-related illnesses due to the behavior of foreign tourists, such as Traveler’s Diarrhea. Bali Belly is a general term for foreign tourists who suffer from diarrhea during visits Bali, hence foreign tourists need to know the risk factors for the Bali Belly incident. Analyzed factors that associated with the Bali Belly incident on foreign tourists in the Pandawa Beach Tourism Area was the purpose of this study. A descriptive correlative research method with a cross-sectional approach was used in this study. The research sample was obtained by accidental sampling technique of 90 people. The data collected using the Bali Belly incident questionnaire. The bivariate analysis used a Contingency Coefficient statistical test. The results of this study showed that age, length of stay, personal hygiene, and location of consuming food (p<0,05) have a significant relationship to the Bali Belly incident in foreign tourists in the Pandawa Beach Tourist Area. Whereas, gender, country of origin, and type of food (p>0,05) did not have a significant relationship to the Bali Belly incident.
