Abstrak

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted on the learning process of school-age children. Changes in the learning process are a challenge for parents, especially supporting children's learning. One of the factors that influence parenting is parental self-efficacy. parental self-efficacy affects children's behavior, socialization skills, children's self-efficacy, anxiety levels, and children's academic achievements. There are several factors that affect the level of parental self-efficacy such as parental characteristics, child characteristics and economic factors. This study aimed to analyze the factors that influence parental self-efficacy in supporting children's learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. A cross-sectional design was performed on parents of elementary school students who participated in online learning in Denpasar. Respondents were recruited using the purposive sampling method. This study employed the Self Efficacy for Parenting Tasks Index Questionnaire. The results showed that parents' self-efficacy was influenced by parental characteristics, especially level of stress. Implementing stress management are recommended for parents to increase optimal care for their children.
