HUBUNGAN ANTARA KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK PERAWAT DENGAN KECEMASAN KELUARGA PASIEN YANG DIRAWAT DI RUANG ICU RSU BANGLI
Abstrak
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a form of service in hospitals in the critical care category. Communication is a basic skill needed by a nurse, but is often not carried out effectively, causing anxiety in the family. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication and the anxiety of families of patients treated in the ICU at RSU Bangli. This research used a quantitative research method with a correlative descriptive design with a cross sectional approach on 30 respondents selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis used the Spearman rank correlation test and the research results obtained a significance value of p value = 0,393 (>0,05) so there was no significant relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication and family anxiety of patients treated in the ICU at RSU Bangli. Good communication in murder is very important because without communication murder services are difficult to implement. Nurses who use interactive communication techniques will create a better perception of achieving good health conditions and the patient's family will feel they understand the health condition of their family members. This will result in a state of anxiety felt by the patient's family. Nurses can also help identify the anxiety conditions felt by the family and can provide information and interventions that can reduce or minimize the anxiety experienced by the patient's family.
