ANALISIS AKSESIBILITAS DAN POLA DISTRIBUSI GEOGRAFI APOTEK DI WILAYAH KOTA DENPASAR DENGAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS
Abstrak
Pharmacies are part of health service facilities that provide access to medicines for the public. Geographic accessibility which signify the ease of access pharmacies is usually measured with the geographic distribution of pharmacies within a region and its density compared to the population size. The study aims to measure the accessibility and geographic distribution patterns of pharmacies in Denpasar City. This study was a descriptive-observational research with a quantitative approach. Based on the data obtained from the Denpasar City Health Office which then verified using the Google Maps, there was a total of 348 pharmacies that are still operated in Denpasar City as of February 2023. The QGIS software application is used to view the distribution of pharmacies in Denpasar City using the buffer method, nearest neighbor analysis and heatmap. We found based on village area, the pharmacies in Denpasar City were not evenly distributed. Some villages had the ratio of the number of pharmacies to the population below the WHO standard of 1:2000. The distribution pattern of pharmacies in Denpasar City tends to be clustered, 7% of villages have a clustered distribution pattern of pharmacies. The Health Office should consider using this finding to select area for the recommendation to build a new pharmacy.
