ABSTRACT
This research discuss the adaptation process of the Akah Village community to the new waste sorting program, in which there are interactions between actors analyzed using actor network theory. This research aims to understand and explain the adaptation process of the Akah Village community to the new waste sorting program and understand and analyze the interactions between actors involved in the adaptation process. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study method that uses qualitative data and is sourced from primary data and secondary data. The data obtained is then sorted, and simplified, then presented in the form of narrative text, after which conclusions will be drawn from the data presented. Based on the data that has been displayed, the conclusion that can be obtained is that the adaptation process began in August, at the beginning of its implementation there were obstacles experienced by the community, but over time these obstacles began to find solutions. The community adaptation process is also assisted by the interaction between the actors involved, such as the official village government and traditional villages that facilitate the community to accommodate aspirations and provide sanctions for those who do not sort, as well as waste transportation employees who give warnings and waste processing employees who process waste properly. The interactions that occur between actors form a network because in the process all actors and actants are interconnected, with waste and information as a link between actors and actants, which in turn form circulating movements, and produce performativity and degrees of resilience which conclude that the network will have resilience and last for a long time.
