Abstrak

Orchids This research aims to analyze the effect of NAA on orchid growth, to analyze the optimal NAA concentration on orchid growth, and to analyze the effect of planting media with optimal NAA concentrations. Planting media that are often used in orchid breeding are kadaka roots or black moss, sphagnum moss, or white moss. This research used a randomized block design (RAK) with 2 comparison factors. Factor 1 is the type of planting medium (black and white moss). Factor 2 is NAA concentration (0.5; 0.50; 0.75 and 1.00 ml/ L). The results of the research showed that the highest average number of new orchid roots formed (0.93 pieces) was found in white moss media with an NAA concentration of 0.75 ml/ L. Meanwhile, in black moss media, the highest average was found at an NAA concentration of 1.00 ml/ L with a value of 0.89. The effect of NAA on the growth of Dendrobium sp. orchids on white moss media, NAA affects the number of new roots, leaf length and plant length. Meanwhile, in black moss NAA affects root length, number of new roots and plant length.
