GAMBARAN BUDAYA KESELAMATAN SATGANA PMI DALAM PERTOLONGAN PERTAMA PADA KORBAN BENCANA KEBAKARAN PERMUKIMAN DI KABUPATEN BULELENG

Abstrak

Throughout 2022, 16 incidents of residential fires have been recorded in Buleleng Regency. Buleleng Regency has a high number of residential fire incidents compared to other disasters. The Disaster Management Alert Unit (SATGANA) is a special team formed, fostered and deployed by PMI to deal with the problem of the residential fire disaster. In providing assistance, SATGANA has a potential risk of an accident while working. So that an attitude is needed that must be applied to reduce the potential risk of work accidents by implementing a Safety Culture. This study used quantitative research methods with descriptive analytic research types and data collection using cross sectional methods. The research was conducted on 30 SATGANA members who were given a SCART questionnaire via Google form, and data collection was carried out on 15-28 February 2023. The results obtained were that the Safety Culture of SATGANA PMI Buleleng members in providing first aid to victims of residential fire disasters was included in the category B rating. with a weighted total score of 696.88. Rating B indicates that the safety performance is in accordance with the required conditions and does not pose a risk of violating safety requirements. However, there are still a number of things related to safety performance that need to be improved by holding regular training, involving all levels of the organization to hold institutional level meetings emphasizing the importance of safety, giving awards in the form of charters or rewards to members after participating in training and assistance and holding performance evaluation activities. and evaluation documentation is complemented by the provision of follow-up recommendations.
